But, why don't I? Why don't I jump out of the car? Dissappear... Whenever I get close to just, snapping, something inside, just holds me back.
It's like this piece of me, when the rest is shattered and about to crash, that peice, it keeps it together. It keeps me together.
I sound crazy, don't I? Depression and teenagers aren't a great pair, but it's not like I necessarily have a choice in the ladder. I want so bad to be, happy.
I want to be able to say, "I am happy." And really mean it.

ReplyDeleteDepression, drama, love, hate, disparity, it's a part of growing up and it is how you react and grow out of it that makes you who you are. Don't disappear, as hopeless as you may feel, understand someone out there has you as a part of their life. If you disappear, you will do more damage than good. It's easy to run away, but it is an achievement of character to overcome.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm in a college of criminal justice, majoring criminology, studying psychology, sociology, and ethnics. I do not like investigating disappearing people. Seriously, it never sounded appealing to me.
"sir, this person seems to no longer hold an existence"
is what I hear every time a case like this is presented. But you do hold an existence, and to many people, you are unique. Do not take yourself away from them.
On a happier note, I like dancing in the rain too! Am I good at it... no.
